Paris is for lovers

We just watched Before Sunset for the zillionth time. I scrolled through some Paris scenes from our trip last year.

from the tip of the Ile de la Cite.
 at the Jardin des Plantes
 my friends Juliana and Anne
the Louvre pyramid during the Nuit Blanche celebration
ah - Pere Lachaise - so lovely. got lots of Jim Morrison's grave, too, but they are so hokey that I won't share.

Yay!!!!!

I made it through the pitch round of the ABNA. Unfortunately, I was the only one of my group of friends who did -- and I know their books were just as good as mine. It is a great feeling nonetheless; I'm on Cloud Nine today and writing is going so well!

Morocco

Morocco. I’ve been writing about it so long that this is technically not R & R, but I just saw this on my random-photo screen saver and wanted to share it. The small town of Chefchaouen is high in the Rif Mountains. It's called - for obvious reasons - the Blue Town.
Blue, blue, blue.
